We didn't set out to build a water brand.
We created saltgood because it matches how we actually live. We wake up early. We train hard. We show up strong for our wives, our kids, and each other — and we put salt in our drinking water. Like everything we put in our bodies, we're intentional about why we do it, when we do it, and where it comes from.
So we went looking for the simplest answer. Naturally alkaline spring water from a northern source led us to the Lanark Highlands. Third-party tested salt for heavy metals and microplastics led us to Antarctic Ocean sea salt.

Sodium is an essential electrolyte your body needs to hydrate properly at the cellular level — not just water, but water your cells can actually use. saltgood carries 100mg for everyday hydration; saltgood+ carries 300mg for active days when you're sweating more and need more.
Same spring water, same sea salt — the only difference is sodium level. saltgood (100mg) is built for daily hydration; saltgood+ (300mg) is built for training days, long hikes, and mornings that start before the sun does.
On average, adult women lose about 3,000mg of sodium a day and adult men lose about 4,200mg — more if you're active or sweating. Most people don't need to restrict sodium as much as older guidelines suggest, and there's real, ongoing research on this. saltgood's 100mg (or saltgood+'s 300mg) is a small fraction of typical daily losses. That said, if you're managing a specific health condition, check with your doctor about what's right for you.
